We’ve all heard the expression “go big or go home,” right? Take a look at this charming River House Charleston wedding, where you’ll see the beauty of simplifying. Jill and Kyle chose to travel to Charleston and wed beneath majestic oaks in the company of family. It was a magnificent September day for the outdoor ceremony and riverside brunch. ‘Tis a gift to be simple.
Jill’s Best Girl: Her Sister, of course!
The River House is a charming venue for weddings with 100 or fewer people. It includes two rooms upstairs where the guys and girls can get ready and relax before the festivities. The riverfront view is spectacular, as are the trees looming over this peaceful place on Charleston’s Ashley River.
As beautiful and colorful as this wedding day was, I was really drawn to how Jill’s svelte gown (by Modern Trousseau) looked in black and white images. The delicate sleeves and breezy back along with the lovely texture of the lace were breathtaking!
Seeing Double? The groom has a twin brother!
Bride’s Mom Goes Bubbly
What a wonderful day for Jill and Kyle to celebrate! Their day was elegant, relaxed and enjoyable for their guests. As an onlooker, I was impressed by their family connections and how seamlessly the day played out. Bon voyage, y’all!
