Flushmount Wedding Album {Charleston Wedding Photographer}
Posted on March 17, 2011
As a Charleston wedding photographer, I have the opportunity to capture all kinds of wedded bliss. My photography packages include full-resolution files on a DVD, enabling the couple to decorate their home with some favorite images. Many brides aspire to whipping up a photo book using the images, but the reality of newlywed bliss often puts DIY projects on the back burner as the couple returns from honeymooning to write thank-yous and get back to work.
I recommend every couple purchase a custom album of archival quality that you can enjoy for decades. The images in this flushmount album are printed on photo paper, so the colors and resolution are just as they should be. The images are mounted onto thin black acid-free cardstock and then bound in a design that enables the pages to lay flat (nothing disappears into the black hole of a gutter, like a magazine). Cover options include various linens, leathers and pleathers, with or without a cover window. The book has an impressive heft, a sign that it was carefully constructed to last you a lifetime.

Suzanne and Pat | {Millstone at Adams Pond Wedding}
Posted on January 13, 2011
Suzanne and Pat’s wedding story is rather unusual. Suffice it to say, so many people were jubilant to see this day finally come, and I was honored to witness it and document it. It was a magnificent celebration at Columbia’s Millstone at Adams Pond, with perfectly planned details and Suzanne’s beautiful children as the attendants. How is it that empty hearts can be so heavy, and full hearts can be so light? Here’s to the happily ever after.
Ah, this last pic was an impromptu stop at a roadside watering hole. A hospitable host appeared at the door calling after his yippy dog, Squirrel. He invited us back to the wedding at his venue the next day!

Suzanne & Pat {Engagement}

Pat is a huge baseball fan, so we were a little bummed when we could not work out getting onto USC’s new field to snap a few engagement shots at the home of the College World Series champs. But it was fitting I had a double-header photo session on this unbelievably steamy day. Suzanne’s bridal session was absolutely divine, but of course, I can’t spoil the surprise of how lovely she’ll be on her upcoming wedding day. After she traded her gown for a short, fun dress, her fiance arrived at their wedding site. The light is so beautiful there, so all we can hope is for a repeat on wedding day — minus about 20 degrees.
I am so completely happy that this couple has found each other. Can’t wait to photograph the wedding!
