Ben & Colleen | Lowndes Grove River House
Posted on May 11, 2011
Despite a frightening forecast for torrential rains and tornadoes, Ben and Colleen had a gorgeous breezy day for their reception at the Lowndes Grove River House. Colleen’s brother escorted her down the aisle at First Baptist Church in downtown Charleston, and the cloud cover blew away to reveal the perfect spring day.
My husband and I wed at this scenic spot on the Ashley River, so I was happy to return and experience a wedding from the other side. Ben and Colleen are so laid-back, animated and fun. They also hold the distinction of being my first engagement session clients (here’s the downtown session from last summer). Congrats, you two!
