Here they are. The Looneys! Years ago, we were neighbors, and their eldest was one of our first babysitters. Now, their youngest daughter could be our kidsitter, their son has facial hair (sorry Reagan!) and their eldest is taking a semester off from school to work at Disney (thus the nifty headgear toward the end). What a fun-loving, God-loving family. He’s the music minister at Northwood Assembly, and I still have memories of hanging out in their den watching their impromptu song-and-dance shows. The Osmonds have nothing on this clan. Oh, and did I mention they love to jump?!

This engagement session was so much fun! And a reminder (not that I needed it) of how fortunate I am to live in the South Carolina Lowcountry with Indian Summer days, golden marsh grass and barefoot weather for more than half the year.
Meet Monica & Casey, another gorgeous couple with an April wedding in their future. He is the general manager of The Woodlands, a top-rated inn in Summerville, and she works for the College of Charleston. Casey has been teaching Monica to cook, so we started in their kitchen for a bit of pasta-making. A quick splash in the backyard, a quick drive to a downtown marina as the sun dropped, and a final stop at the Charleston Grill in Charleston Place, where the two met.
